Croeso i Gymdeithas Pysgota Llandysul / Welcome to Llandysul Angling Association
If you are looking to go fishing on the River Teifi in West-Wales, then you have come to the right place. Whether it is wetting a line for salmon, sea trout (sewin), brown trout or even grayling – Llandysul Angling Association has something on offer for everyone and at a very affordable price.
The River Teifi is the longest river to start and end wholly in Wales, covering a length of around 75 miles – starting high in the Cambrian Mountains and Teifi Pools, before emptying into the sea in Gwbert and Cardigan Bay. Over this journey, Llandysul Angling Association has fishing available on some 30 miles of the river; with beats starting in the Cellan area, covering notable fishing stations such as Lampeter, Llanybydder, Maesycrugiau, Llandysul, Pentrecwrt and Henllan before reaching as far downstream as the Newcastle Emlyn area. Having such a large portfolio open to you allows you to fish the size of river you prefer from small and intimate on the upper reaches, through to wider and less enclosed on the lower reaches. For an insight into our fishing, please check out our portfolio of beats HERE.
We encourage fly and spin fishing, with no bait fishing allowed on club water. Please take a look at our rules HERE.
There are several permit types available to cover different age classes and also length of stay. These range from junior (just £2 for the full season!) and student permits to Full and OAP permits. Day and week permits are readily available throughout the season for those wishing to stay for shorter periods or get a taste of what we offer before committing to a season permit. We hope you find the website informative and we hope you enjoy our river and club when you choose to visit.
