RIVER LEVELS

We are fortunate to have three great gauges along the middle and upper reaches of the Teifi that are of use to Llandysul Angling Association anglers. There is one above the village of Llandysul named Llanfair, then a further two on the upper reaches in the Tregaron area. Links to them are as follows, starting from the upper gauge and working downriver – it is always advisable to check what the river is doing at different stations to see how this may affect you locally over the forthcoming hours etc.

There is also a gauge on the River Tyweli, which flows into the Teifi in Llandysul. This is also worth checking to see how it may affect the beats immediately below.

There is also a webcam on the river, located on the lower-middle reaches around the Henllan area – immediately opposite our Llandyfriog beat.

For those looking for something practical on their phones, the free app named ‘RiverApp’ is fantastic and worth downloading. It covers a myriad of rivers across the UK and Europe, including all the gauges mentioned above.
