General guidance when visiting LlAA waters.
- As per Association Byelaws, members (day / week / season) are NOT to make any statements or enter into any agreement on behalf of the Association. If a landowner, for example, asks something specific or an issue arises, please report the conversation to the Association / committee and / or refer them to us so that we can address questions / concerns.
- If approached by a landowner (verify their identity / position) regarding your identity / membership status, please act cordially and present your membership card to them, which you should always carry on your person. If asked by the same person/s on subsequent visits during the same season, please note the occurrence to us.
- There is no requirement on any of our water (whether owned or leased) to notify a landowner or individual/s before arrival or when leaving a specific beat. We encourage members not to do this, due to the precedent is sets.
- If you witness / face any access issues, please report them immediately to the Association / Committee so that they may be dealt with.
- Please take care when accessing and fishing on Association water. Please keep within Association boundaries, keep to stipulated access routes, and respect the countryside code.
- Please make sure to familiarise yourself with the Association’s Byelaws – available as a booklet, and in digital format on our website.
