SECTION ‘C’ – LLANDYSUL
SECTION C – MAESYCRUGIAU TO LLANDYSUL AREA (LOWER-MIDDLE REACHES)
Some 10 miles above and 10 miles below Llandysul would be regarded as the prime of the middle reaches. This is some of the (if not the) finest holding water on the whole river. Both salmon and sea trout (sewin) will actively aim for this section, regardless of the time of year of river height. There are numerous named and famous holding pools, the majority of which we are proud to have within our portfolio. From Prysg, Vicar’s and Jack’s, through to Oak, Church, Horse and more. You also have the gorge in Rhydygalfe just below the village of Llandysul, which is quite possibly one of the most famous fishing stations on the whole river. Each beat has a very different feel and we are certain you will enjoy exploring each section and the experiences that they bring.
